Study: State Faculty Underpaid

A new study finds that faculty at the nine Massachusetts state colleges earn substantially less than their peers at public colleges in other leading industrial states. Those with the highest academic rank fare the worst, with full professors earning $11,710 or 13 percent less than the average salary of their peers.
